This is a translation. Roaden is run from Spain and the Spanish version of this document is the one that is legally binding. It is at /aviso. This English text is here so it can be read, and if the two ever disagree, the Spanish one is the one that counts.
This notice carries the information required by article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE).

Roaden is a service for planning motorcycle routes, keeping them, publishing them and finding other people's. It is a subscription service, with fourteen free days before the first payment, and its terms of sale are published.
A service on the internet can change, be interrupted, or stop being offered. We say so here because it is true, not as a disclaimer: if that ever happened, we would say so and you would be able to take your routes away as GPX first.
Use of the service is governed by the Terms of use. The handling of personal data, by the Privacy notice.
The code, the design, the Roaden name and the text on these pages belong to its owner. What you make is yours: your routes, your notes and your photographs stay yours, and publishing them on Roaden does not transfer them to us — it only lets us show them inside the service for as long as you want them published. It is spelled out in the Terms.
The mapping and the places shown come from third parties and carry their own
conditions: OpenStreetMap (ODbL) for the road network the
routes are calculated over and for the maps we draw ourselves from
tiles.roaden.app, and Google Maps / Places for
the planner's map and the information about places.
We take no responsibility for the routes. Neither the ones Roaden calculates nor the ones somebody else publishes. A route is a line on a map, not a guarantee about the state of a road or about whether it can or should be ridden.
The riding is yours. Surfaces, weather, roadworks, closures and traffic rules change, and we do not know about them in real time.
They are drawn over OpenStreetMap, a map made by volunteers that may be incomplete or out of date. Roaden marks the unpaved stretches it detects, and that detection is approximate: it goes by how each way is classified, and in Spain most small roads have never had their surface recorded by anybody. A route not marking gravel does not mean there is none.
A public route is the content of whoever made it, not ours. We do not check it: we do not know whether it is legal to ride there, whether the track still exists, whether it crosses private land or whether it suits your bike. Whoever publishes it answers for what they publish.
We act as a hosting service provider under article 16 LSSI-CE: if we are made aware that a published route is unlawful or dangerous, we take it down. Tell us at info@roaden.app and we will look at it.
None of the above releases us from answering for our own failures, nor does it cut back the rights the law gives you as a consumer. A clause saying otherwise would not stand, and we are not going to write one.
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts where you live; nothing we say here takes that right away from you.
